Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Yields 1 dozen rolls Tomato sauce 2 Cups diced tomatoes, organic 2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 4 Garlic cloves, organic, minced 2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar ¼ Cup shallots, organic, minced 2 Teaspoons oregano 2 Teaspoons garlic powder Stevia to taste Sea salt to taste Black pepper to taste Cabbage mixture 2 Lbs Grass fed ground beef, or ground organic turkey 2 Tablespoons parsley minced 2 Cups cauliflower rice, see recipe 2 Tablespoons coconut oil | *For the sauce, mix all ingredients in a medium size sauce pot, and simmer for at least 30 minutes. Stirring often.To start the roll process, peel cabbage making sure to wash, and set aside. Heat coconut oil in a large sauté pan and cook protein until cooked through. Follow directions for my cauliflower rice. Combine ground meat, cauliflower rice, 3/4 of the sauce, and mix. Set mixture inside cabbage leaf and roll. Place rolled cabbage’s in a medium depth hotel pan, and top with remaining sauce. Bake at 350 until done. Enjoy!! |
